Who Will Be King?
Passage: Psalm 93

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What comes to your mind when you think of “majesty”? What do you picture, how would you define what is majestic, or describe a time when you have experienced/beheld majesty?
Read Psalm 93. What challenges, encourages, or sparks questions for you in this psalm? What phrases stand out to you that help shape your understanding of God’s true character?
The psalm begins with a declaration: “The LORD reigns,” How have you wrestled with the reality of God’s reign and authority over creation and in your life? In what ways is this truth a comfort or a challenge for you?
How does God’s majesty impact our lives?
We see God “flex his muscles” on the cross and in light of the empty tomb. How does this psalm describe God’s might and strength? How do we hold the description in Psalm 93 with Jesus’s power made perfect through his death and resurrection?
We may be prone to treat God functionally as a personal assistant, but what does receiving him a LORD look like in our relationships, our work, and our play?
Share a way you have experienced God’s majesty and might in your life personally.

Share with your group how they can be praying for you: what is weighing on you from this past week? What are you praising God for from this past week?
But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. (Titus 3:4-5 )
