Covenant Kids

The mission of Covenant Kids is to provide a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment for children so that they will grow in their understanding of Jesus, experience his love, and desire to live like him in their families and neighborhoods.

In addition to teaching and caring for children, we seek to work in partnership with families in order to build community where parents can learn about raising kids, receive support to love their families well, and feel challenged to live the abundant life Jesus offers.

Family/Infant Rooms

There is a family room to the right of the sanctuary where parents can see and hear the service while feeding and caring for infants. A mom’s nursing room is available to the left of the sanctuary.

Nursery – Kindergarten

Childcare is provided on Sundays for ages 0 to 5 years on the first floor of the educational building in rooms 2 and 3 from 9:45am to 11:30am. Please let the care givers know of your child’s needs.

Kids’ Worship

Families at Covenant Church are encouraged to engage their children in worship. Children (1st through 6th grade) may join their families during the service and be dismissed during the Greeting Time to go with Sunday School teachers for age appropriate teaching in the educational building. Parents are welcome to go with their children and have time to return to the service.

On the first Sunday of each month, first graders and older are invited to join their families for the entire service so that they can experience all the elements of worship together with the community at Covenant. There are no elementary or middle school classes on the first Sunday of the month.
